On the Monster Rancher 5 Circus Caravan front:
Other than what info that was released at the Tokyo game show, no new news on Tecmos site. Release date set at December 8, 2005 overseas for the PS2.
Moving on to the Konami site,"also with a new layout" not a whole lot to look foward to other than what little info there is on Suikoden 5, Suikoden Tactics, & the fuxed up news of the next Rumble Roses is going to be released on the Xbox 360. " I guess the rumors were true " =_=
Rumble Roses XX:
Xbox 360
Being the next gen console and xbox, you can pretty much guess where the improvements will be " online play and improved graphics " Not realy sure on the story yet and what or if any changes to the controls.
Suikoden V:
PS2
Suikoden V, like its predecessors, features unparalleled in-depth gameplay, a riveting storyline as well as the series' trademark 108 Stars of Destiny. Thrust into a time of unbalance and unrest, a dynamic drama unfolds revolving around one of the 27 True Runes, the Sun Rune. Players are tasked to explore the lands of Farlena, gather allies and become stronger to ultimately bring back peace and prosperity. While on their quest through rich 3D environments, exciting new secrets of the Suikoden world will be revealed!
The game features significant enhancements from all the previous installments of the series, including 6-member battle parties, multiple mini-games and the homebase system, where all of your allies gather together along with new features to create a unique gameplay experience like no other.
Suikoden Tactics:
PS2
Suikoden Tactics is set before, during and after the events of Suikoden® IV and the game follows the adventures of a young new hero, Kyril as he uncovers the dark secrets behind the magical Rune Cannons. Successfully blending classic Suikoden and RPG elements that fans of the renowned series have come to expect with new features and game mechanics, Suikoden Tactics offers players an original and robust gameplay experience.
By exploring the game's vast and stunning environments, players will encounter numerous characters from which they can build their party. The colorful cast, each one highly stylized and artistically created, includes over 20 new characters as well as many that were featured in Suikoden IV. The ability to coordinate troops and strengthen a character's skills at anytime throughout the game will aid players in the battles that await them. However, the true challenge lies in trying to outmaneuver opponents on the battlefield. The inclusion of a new 'Ground Elemental System', where the ground itself is imbued with power of the elements adds a dynamic new level of strategic gameplay to the genre.
As in past Suikoden games, during battle, players will be able to execute a wide variety of 'Combination Attacks' that will result in extravagant and exciting scene effects. Also, the newly implemented visual strategic system allows players to determine the status of their troops and foes through a series of status icons, alleviating the need to access menus that distract from the heat of battle.
