To cut things short, the Shinigami and Zanpaktou got played. Muramasa used the Zanpaktou rebellion to distract the Shinigami while he figured out a way to bypass Shigekuni's barrier. The evil ones true goal was to gain knowledge from Yamamoto's inner world. Thought something was off with that barrier. In the end Murama uses Ichigo's ultimate attack to free the captain commander and all ell breaks loose. As the truth of the rebellion comes to light, Murama wipes out Katen Kyokotsu and Sogyo no Kotowari using Ryujin Jakka.
