Beowulf:
Not what I had expected, but its all good. One of the better incarnations of the orginal txt out there. Not going to get into great detail over the story, most people should know at least who the movie revolves around and the basic ground work for the story.
Score: 8.5
Fido:
Interesting twist on the mass graveyard of zombie flicks. Set in a post zombie war era in the 50s/60s. Enter the domesticated zombies, kept in control with a special collar. Overall the story revolves around a young boy, his family, and their zombie. An intellectual dark comedy with political stances. For zombie fans a must see X.x b
Score 8.5
Killer Pad:
A sleeper hit in the making, beware of the hidden trap. Basic story revolves around 3 friends who move into a yet to be known house to hell "damn squatters". enter the evil chicks and the house party to kill all house parties.
Score 7.0 " but, she's got a penis"
30 Days of Night:
Not a big fan of vampire movies, same goes for this one. The atmosphere feels like a mix of The Thing and Phantoms, only with vampires. Based on a comic written by Steve Niles and illustrated by Ben Templesmith. Vampires come to an isolated Alaskan town, bringing carnage and bloodshed. Basic horror plot, majority dies.
Score 7.0
Justice League The New Frontier:
Based on the graphic novel by Darwyn Cooke. The story revolves around a post war world, a classic view of the heroes of old. And there fight against The Center, a entity thats wants to destroy all life on the earth. A unity of the world and the founding of the Justice League.
Score: 7.5
Night of the Demons Trilogy:
One of the classics from the 80's and 90's, enter Hull House. On Halloween night the gates of hell open and Angela cums out to play. Basic plot in the series, teens looking for a little fun come to Hull House on Halloween. First movie Angela gains her powers, and goes on an onslaught of killing and possessing the dead. A familiar face in the movie being Linnea Quigley. Most notable appearence, "Return of the Living Dead" among others. Second installment, Angela tries to sacrafice her sister Mouse. Only to be stopped by a nun with skills, Catholic school lovers, and Angela's sister. Notable Faces, Christine Taylor and Jennifer Rhodes. Third installment, more of the same. Exception being, the teens end up at Hull House after shooting a cop at the local gas station. And a detective only a few hrs from retiring is on the case.
Score: Cult Classic
